Benjabelle Original Brush Tree, my review

First time I heard of Benjabelle Brush Tree some time ago from the blog Hunger For Beauty. I almost bought it but then an offer from the Ula-la-beauty store came and I received one Original Brush Tree for testing. I thought it was a good opportunity to see a new solution to my brush problem.

Ula-la-beauty is a Benjabelle authorized reseller.

Finally an end to the problem of drying and storage! Simple and easy idea!
You can read more about the Benjabelle inventors

Product: Benjabelle Original Brush, Mini Brush Tree, The Spinner

Colours available: Black, white, pink

Price: Original Brush Tree £30.99

Mini Brush Tree £21.99

The Spinner £9.99

Benjabelle Original Brush Tree is made of plastic and holders for brush handles are made of soft silicone. The tree consists of three components. This arrangement allows drying brushes vertically, protecting against  accumulation of water at the bases of brushes. And because they hang vertically the shape of each brush is unaffected and stays the same. Keeping water out of the ferrule is very important. This is a convenient, seemingly simple but a very clever product.

Super easy to assemble.

This is how it looks in use.

Different types of larger or smaller face make-up brushes fit easily into the holders.

The tree is straightforward to store away too. I’m so happy to find this system for my brushes. I can also just dry wet brushes and I like keeping them there and have them all in one place.

My brushes dry much faster with the Brush Tree and it’s much more hygienic. It’s easy to store when not in use.

Benjabelle Original Brush Tree this is a fantastic product and I also bought Mini Brush Tree. The two Trees create a successful team - according to the inventors’ slogan - Your brushes deserve the best :)

There is also The Spinner that I’m planning to buy. It will be an excellent complement to the Trees. Trees will became even more functional with The Spinner.

L’oreal La Laque & Le Matte Colour Riche Lip Color, first impressions

I watched YT videos and demo LollyDolly128 got my attention. These are new lip pencils by L’oreal. I decided to buy on eBay La Laque 411 Never Lacque-ing  and Le Matte 404 Matte-R of Fact! I chose two different finishes/textures. Amazing colours, super pigmentation and La Laque is wonderfully moisturizing and so creamy. Smell is a bit strange, kind of powder or floral/Nivea cream. For me is neutral, I don’t mind.

Le Matte – Velvety Full Coverage Lip Colour

Le Matte is nice, but not that exciting because my lips are very sensitive and dry. I’m still looking for an ideal product for them. Colour is fantastic, brownish red - 404 Matte-R of Fact! It is an excellent choice for the autumn.
Durability is a little bit disappointing, because it leaves uneven spots after a few hours. I don't like such effect.

La Laque – Shiny Coverage Lip Colour

La Laque is soft and very girlish. I really liked it. 411 Never Lacque-ing colour is kind of dusty pink. Finish/texture: very creamy, smooth and very comfortable. It gives a feeling of hydration. Very long lasting, much longer than La Matte 404 Matte-R of Fact!

Rimmel Salon Pro 227 New Romantic

Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Colour with LYCRA®Up to 10 days chip resistant nail colour with gel shine finish! Including 10 amazing shades created by Kate Moss Includes our precision maxi brush for salon perfection!

227 New Romantic is my new favourite nail polish. Amazing colour, broad brush, lovely smooth finish like gel polish.
Unfortunately, the downside is the long drying time. So it is good to use top coat e.g. Seche Vite, Insta-Dri, Poshe.

The colour is fantastic, very light pink with subtle shimmer. Application is very nice with a wide brush. It can be two coater but I applied three thin coats for full coverage.

Removing – no problems.

Durability – with top coat Seche Vite 5 days.

Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield my review

Formulated with Lotus Shield Technology, to help form a protective lightweight barrier that holds up even in humid weather. Lightweight, leave-in serum, instantly helps smooth and tame, then lasts through two washes* 60ml

How to use Lotus Shield :
Shake well before use. Apply a 1/2 teaspoon (or pea sized amount) of product to clean, damp hair and distribute evenly. For longer hair, increase product amount gradually until you experience the desired results.

My hair is very soft, thin and has a tendency to be frizzy. It’s like my hair lives its own life. Frizz Control Lotus Shield totally tames and leaves my hair shiny and soft but not greasy at all. It’s very light and not weighted down. It smells very nice.

The serum is very light and absorbs quickly. I‘m very impressed because is not sticky.

I love this product, Lotus Shield is just brilliant. My hair is shiny, beautiful and stays straight all day. My hair is controlled even in fine rain which is a plus for me. It works on the frizz and keeps my hair under control for many hours.

The serum can be used in two ways: with or without a hairdryer. I use it mostly with a hairdryer-styler. Actually, I’m going through a second bottle already.
